I'm so bored right now I'm suicidal. If this takes the two weeks to resolve that they're talking about, I'll be postal before long.

Lemme see if I understand this correctly: You expect to experience homicidal urges because the boredom that is presently inducing your suicidal feelings will remain for at least two weeks.

I think you can take medication for this.
